Moringa Citrus Salad

Fruits are one of my best food friends. You can have them as a snack, breakfast, lunch and dessert. The way I usually like to incorporate fruits in my meal is in Juices and Smoothies. They are a great way to pack a ton of nutrition into one quick and easy meal. However, you can still have them the good old way. Nicely cut and served on a plate. Nothing wrong with that.

When it’s in a plate or in a smoothie fruits are loaded with vitamins and anti-oxidants that fuel our bodies with energy and helps are bodies to heal. Our powder is tasteless and odorless however some people cannot stand the sight of green powder in their food. I love that you can sprinkle Miracle in the Green Moringa powder as a base on a plate of salad and then neatly lay the fruits on top of the powder. That way you get the benefits of Moringa without losing the beauty of the colors in your dish. This is such a fun way to add the powder to all your foods without knowing it’s there. Be sure to include nutrient dense toppings like veggies, oils, honey and nuts. I always make a big plate so I can have some left-overs for dinner.

This recipe is very easy and light. A little honey on the grapefruit can help rid its tart acidity. Also, a little bit of salt on grapefruit has been known to help remove the tartiness (tip of the day …yay!). A handful or two of fresh arugula adds that green goodness. Add a couple of black berries or soft pitted dates for a touch of extra sweetness.
