Our bodies are very important and the only true home we will ever have. They give us our place in the world and keep our true essence safe and protected. With all our bodies do for us on a daily basis, you’d think we would revere them, treat them with respect, and do everything we can to take care of them properly.
A “well” person owns up to his or her responsibility to protect his/her body for health and happiness and does not allow others to take control over decisions he/she needs to make for him/herself. Self-responsibility presupposes self-awareness, including the process by which one becomes increasingly more aware of both the causes and consequences of his/her behavior.Self care is a vital part of maintaining good health and a vibrant life. It’s a way of living that incorporates behaviors that help you to be refreshed, replenish your personal motivation, and grow as a person.
Wellness is an active process of selfcare. Becoming aware of and making choices towards a healthy and fulfilling life. It is more than being free from illness, it is a dynamic process of change and growth. A good or satisfactory condition of existence; a state characterized by health, happiness, and prosperity; welfare.
Living a healthy lifestyle such as eating healthy, exercising, avoiding junk will not only extend your life, rejuvenate your skin and hair but also improve your overall well-being. It will help you to feel better physically and mentally.
Eat a variety of foods.
Eating a wide variety of healthy foods helps to keep you in good health and to protect against chronic disease. Eating a well-balanced diet means eating a variety of foods from each of the five food groups daily, in the recommended amounts. It is also important to choose a variety of foods from within each food group.
Choose plenty of fruits and vegetables.
Fruits and vegetables contain important vitamins, minerals and plant chemicals. They also contain fibre. There are many varieties of fruit and vegetables available and many ways to prepare, cook and serve them. A diet high in fruit and vegetables can help protect you against cancer, diabetes and heart disease.
Drink plenty of fluids.
It's important for your body to have plenty of fluids each day. Water helps you digest your food, absorb nutrients from food, and then get rid of the unused waste. Water is found in foods—both solids and liquids, as well as in its natural state. With age, you might lose some of your sense of thirst.
Mind your salt and sugar intake.
Too many people eat too much saturated fat, added salt, added sugars and alcohol. Even reducing these by small amounts can make us healthier. It can help us manage our weight better and reduce our risk of chronic diseases like heart disease, stroke, Type 2 diabetes, some cancers and chronic kidney disease.
Keep a healthy body weight.
Maintaining a healthy weight is important for health. In addition to lowering the risk of heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and high blood pressure, it can also lower the risk of many different cancers.
Start Now and Make it a Habit.
Changing your eating habits and your environment can help you eat healthier foods. A healthy diet is good for your overall health. It also can help you reach a healthy weight and stay there. To improve your eating habits, it's best to make small lifestyle changes that you can keep doing over time.

3-4 kale leaves
1 red apple
1 green apple
15 cashew nuts
2 tsp Miracle In The Green Moringa Powder (also called Oringaa)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
dash of black pepper
Sea salt to taste
Preheat the oven to 350C
Cut pre-washed kale into small pieces.
Cut the apples and strawberries into thin slices and place on a baking tray lined with baking parchment. Roast in the oven for 5-20 minutes, depending on how crunchy you want it. Chop the cashew nuts and add to the apple tray, add blueberries and chopped kale. Bake for 5-10 minutes. Gently mix in the Moringa dressing. .
MORINGA VEGGIE WRAP
2 large collard green leaves, washed
1/2 ripe avocado
1 teaspoon Miracle in the Green Moringa Powder
1 pepper or tomato
A handful of sprouts if you so desire (alfalfa, sunflower, pea shoots)
Seasoning with lemon, salt, pepper
Lay your collard leaf out flat on a cutting board stem side facing up. Shave the stem from the leaf horizontally and away from you. You want to do this so you can roll and fold your collard leaf without it cracking and splitting. Test your collard leaf now to see if it will roll easily into a small burrito.
Spread half of your 1/2 avocado onto the collard leaf leaving an inch or two from the bottom end of the stem. Sprinkle Miracle in the Green Moringa Powder
Lay your veggies and sprouts nicely in the bottom portion to the middle of your collard leaf, still leaving an inch or two at the bottom part of the stem. Keep everything in the middle and far away from the top and sides, just like you would fill a burrito.
Roll the bottom stem end of your collard leaf up and away from you and make a full roll. Tuck in the sides of the leaf and continue rolling and tucking in as you go. Keep your roll tight so when you cut it your filling doesn’t fall out.
Hold your wrap tightly and then carefully slice it in half. If desired you can skewer it with a toothpick to hold it together and set it on a plate.
