1. Moringa Ginger Smoothie:
Ingredients:
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup oat or almond milk
- 1 tablespoon molasses
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- honey (optional)
- Ice cubes (optional)
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 teaspoon moringa powder
Instructions:
- In a blender, mix ripe banana, molasses, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, and moringa powder
- Pour in your preferred milk and blend until smooth.
- If desired, add ice cubes and blend again until the smoothie reaches the consistency you like.
- Sprinkle a dash of cinnamon on top, and enjoy!
2. Moringa Peppermint Hot Chocolate:
Ingredients:
- 2 cups almond milk
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1-2 tablespoons stevia, honey or maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon moringa powder
- Whipped coconut cream (optional, for topping)
Instructions:
- Heat almond milk over medium heat until warm but not boiling in a saucepan.
- Add in and mix cocoa powder, honey, stevia or maple syrup, peppermint extract, and moringa powder until well combined.
- Continue to heat, stirring frequently, until the hot chocolate is smooth and heated to your preference.
- Pour into mugs, top with whipped coconut cream if desired!
3. Moringa and Goat Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms:
Ingredients:
- 12 large mushrooms, cleaned and stems removed
- parsley for garnish
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon moringa powder
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 cup goat cheese, softened
- Olive oil for drizzling
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F
- In a bowl, mix the softened goat cheese, chopped parsley, moringa powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Scoop the goat cheese mixture into the mushroom caps.
- Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet, coat with olive oil, and bake until the mushrooms are tender, preferably 15-20 minutes.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
4. Moringa Sweet Potato Soup:
Ingredients:
- 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and diced
- Olive oil for cooking
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups vegetable broth
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon moringa powder
- Coconut milk or any milk (optional, for creaminess)
Instructions:
- Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until softened.
- Add the diced sweet potatoes, ground cumin, moringa powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- Add the vegetable broth and bring it to a boil. Lower the heat, cover, and let it simmer until the sweet potatoes reach a tender consistency.
- You may use an immersion blender to blend the soup until smooth. Stir in coconut milk for extra creaminess, this is optional.
